Youth Group of Kansas City is affiliated with the Hindu Temple and Cultural Center of Kansas City. YGKC is geared towards individuals between the ages of 5-18, but we welcome people of all ages to events planned for kids by our executive committee, composed of high school students.
MISSION
Our vision is to unite the Indian population, especially the youth, which is spread across the greater Kansas City area. Together we can inspire our youth to get involved in the community at large and show that we have an identity as young Indian living in Kansas City.
GOALS
provide social opportunities so that Indian kids can interact with one another
- give back to the community by volunteering at the temple and other organizations
- keep in touch with our culture through our events
- provide an avenue for leadership opportunities in our community
